Fire-protection rolling gates of Marc-VR type are designed to separate fire zones in accordance with binding fire regulations.
These gates are used mainly in public buildings, manufacturing plants and halls and in underground garages. They are the ideal solution for places with a limited amount of space around the opening. They may be painted in any RAL colour to adapt the door to almost any operational environment.

Principle of operation
The opening and closing of the gate is carried out by the main motor 400V AC. In case of fire risk, the fire-fighting central unit activates the fire prevention motor of 24V DC integrated with the main drive and the door closes the passage between the fire zones. In case of power failure it is possible to open the door manually using a crank. It is also possible to use a motor powered by 230V.
Construction
- the gate shell consists of fireproof panels;
- each panel is made up of a shaped PVC profile, with two internal wooden slats tightly coated by a fire-resistant insulation material;
- the gate panels are made in standard colour similar to RAL 7035;
- the gate panels are wound on the shaft and mounted between the guides, which typically are not covered by any housing.
