Fire-protection curtain gates of Marc-K type are designed to separate fire zones in accordance with binding fire regulations.

They are used mainly in buildings with high aesthetic demands - public buildings and shopping centres. They are flexible separations of fire zones and their low installation requirements make them the ideal solution for places with very little space around the wall opening.

Principle of operation

The shell of curtain is wound on the shaft and maintained in the open position by a lock with fuse element or by electric drive brake. In case of fire risk, the shell of curtain is released and it unwinds to close the fire zone.

Construction

  • the gate shell made of woven fibreglass reinforced with a steel wire, for Class EW the shell is coated on both sides with a swelling mass containing carbon fibres;
  • the curtain shell is wound on the shaft and mounted between the guides - this set is protected by a system of covers;
  • as a standard solution, all components of gate housing are galvanized;
  • a bottom ballast bar is installed along the lower edge of the shell;
  • for curtains with a width of more than 5 m, shaft supporting rollers are used.
  • any RAL colour for the gate guides and drive covers;
  • additional accessories increasing the operational performance of the gate;
  • fire protection drives, reed switches, motion detectors (priced and included in the offer on special request).
