Project characteristics:

For the purpose of the facility, a system of Marc-Kda mobile smoke curtains was designed, manufactured, and installed by Małkowski-Martech S.A.
A four-star hotel in Łódź city centre is characterised by modern design, whose constant interior design elements are the works of contemporary Polish and foreign artists. A system of elliptically-mounted curtains was integrated into this exceptionally demanding interior.

System of Marc-Kda smoke curtains:

– a system of elliptically-mounted smoke curtains on 5 consecutive floors of the hotel
 

When designing the gates, the following issues were taken into account:

– the nature of the renovated building
– the concept of the architect
– need to maintain the unique interior design of the building
– combined operation of the curtains with the fire-fighting water tank located on the top of the building
– installation of driving elements and secured against unauthorised access
– the necessity of combined operation of individual curtains with each other and with the entire fire alarm system of the building

Characteristics:

For the specific purposes of the hotel, a system of Marc-Kda smoke curtains, D60 class, ASB3 type, was designed and installed on each level of the building in the shape of an ellipse.
